- Planning for an Annual Conference which focuses on identifying the most important signs of our times and offering the most effective solutions with which to face them.
SPECIAL PROJECT OF THE CATHOLIC HOUR
The ultimate goal of The Catholic Hour movement is to found The Fulton Sheen Institute. The Institute would be a unique and fitting response to the call for a new evangelization. It would consist of a conference and retreat center located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains [Aspen valley] where visitors, laity and priests, of all ages and families can come for the highest quality and integral Catholic formation according to the intellectual and spiritual pillars which form the foundation of The Catholic Hour movement. The Fulton Sheen Institute dedicated to providing retreats, intensive courses on spiritual, theological, philosophical and historical subjects that are most relevant to the challenges of the modern world and related to the ideals and mission of The Catholic Hour movement. The Fulton Sheen Institute will also be engaged in the new evangelization by using the latest means of communication to more broadly and effectively reach the heart of every household.
In short, it is to be a place of peace and beauty where families, priests, religious and lay singles will find the intellectual, spiritual and life-skills formation so desperately needed for the Catholic family engaged in the new evangelization of the 3rd millennium.
This indeed is a massive project, but with God’s superabundant and merciful Providence exercised through generous souls, anything is possible for those who truly believe in the critical importance of this movement. This is the time when we need to trust in God’s Providence and invest all that we can to bring as many souls to Jesus through Mary. God always rewards a cheerful and generous giver!!! After all, “What have you that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if it were not a gift?” (1 Cor. 4:7). So, let us place all of our trust in Jesus and aim high!
